All import shipments coming into the ports of United States need to go through the customs clearing formalities.
Courier baggage and documents can be cleared without duty and taxes at JFK International Airport New York with section 321 Type 86
Section 321 Type 86 is a customs entry type for goods imported into the United States allows up to $800 valued goods to be cleared without any duty on each shipment.
1. Each bag / Package shall not exceed 32 KG and a total dimension of 160 CM (when add up together however each side must be less than 70 cm)
2. If the value is less than $800 then there are no duties or taxes for the items sent as personal use and not for resale

5. A proper manifest must be sent prior to the departure of the shipment
6. Manifest and Airwaybill weight / dimensions / value must be perfectly prepared
7. Invoices must be settled within 3 days from the date of invoice
8. Deposits can be returned if the agent stops operation Airzone will refund the deposit
9. Any malpractice may attract penalties which will be on the account of the shipping agent
10. If there are any duty / taxes or any penalty on a shipment the consignee must pay before the delivery.
11. The volume weight is calculated Length x width x height / 5000 (if in centimeters) / length x width x height / 136 (if in inches)
12. Tracking numbers shall be mailed after the handover of the shipment to the carriers
13. On carriage must be selected by the forwarding agent
14. Carrier’s insurance policies will be applicable for all shipments.
15. Manifest, packing list, HAWB, Master Airwaybill must be mailed prior to the departure of the airline in order to assist the preclearance.
16. Any delay due to late documentation may attract storage
17. Any short-land of items need to be delt at the origin
18. We do not anticipate any prohibited items at situation and will have zero tolerance
Before the shipment arrives, the documents to be emailed and the preclearance will be organized, after the flight arrives the shipment will be handed over to the bonded warehouse.
If there is a special inspection required by any means the shipment will be held at the bonded warehouse for 2 to 3 days otherwise the shipment shall be released immediately after brought to the bonded warehouse.
